Intentional Time With Jesus was birthed in the heart of Tawanna Chism after embarking on a 40 day fast in the Summer of 2024.  After completing the 40 days of refraining from eating meat, Tawanna realized how much closer she felt to God/Jesus and she began to experience the intimacy with Him that she had been longing for.  After overcoming many years of trials and tribulations, she once again had unlocked the keys to the heart of God.  The Lord’s Presence, Voice, and Fresh Wind began to flood her heart, and she began to walk in unspeakable joy.  This new season of fellowship with God was welcomed with open arms and gratitude and she began seeking more and more of His wisdom and guidance.  

While her spirit was rejoicing in her renewed relationship with the Lord, she realized her physical body and muscle tone had declined due to not eating protein for 40 days.  Tawanna set out to regain strength after noticing seriously flabby arms and legs.  She had a conversation seeking guidance from her older sister, who had become a fitness model and had won competitions in the fitness industry.  Her sister advised her to increase her protein significantly more than she ever realized was necessary to help with increased muscle tone and continue in weight loss.  

Tawanna began consistently working out while using her Apple watch to track her calories burned, miles walked/ jogged, and steps taken daily.  As far as Tawanna was concerned, it was “game on”, as she began to lose pounds, inches, and was becoming more toned.  She began to look forward to her daily “walks with the Lord” to worship and fellowship with Him every single day.  His voice became clearer, and her spiritual eyes were opening once again.
